Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was straightforward and positive. It involved four pre-recorded questions that I could complete using my phone, and it automatically saved my progress.

First there was a quick assessment form to complete, then a zoom interview where I had to give a 5-minute lesson on a topic chosen from a list. The job ad and interviewer mentioned $20/hr for during-session work, but the offer stated $18/hr and they wouldn't change it. Planning time was offered at $15/hr.

I had an interview with a current tutor who asked why I was interested in tutoring with Amplify and then watched me give a 5-minute lesson I had prepared. It felt pretty stress-free. I think interviews can be done in groups, but there was no one else in my time slot.
