4 rounds of interview, 1st round coding, 2nd round coding, 3rd round face-to-face. Then hr discussion. They released the offer in 1 month, took them so much time, I had to follow up.
It was a quick interview, not technical at all. They really just wanted to get to know me and understand my work style. I had the chance to chat with both consultants and upper management during the process, and they extended an offer pretty quickly after that. The whole experience felt really transparent and exciting.
The initial phone call was all hypothetical questions, it felt like they already knew the answers and just wanted to see if I knew them too, rather than understanding my unique approach. The face-to-face interview was much better because I could actually show them things and explain my problems and solutions. HR was a real hassle, I couldn't figure out what the person wanted. They seem really bad with numbers and try to lowball salary offers, which is odd for such a small company. They also asked about other job offers I had.
