Started with an HR rep who wasn't too informed and didn't communicate clearly. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager, who came across as arrogant and acted like the trash industry was the greatest thing ever. They kept repeating claims about improving culture and great new management, which sounded rehearsed and not genuine. I didn't hear back after asking about the job's status. I ended up taking another offer that I was really excited about. I'd be cautious about joining this company; they seem disrespectful and focused on grinding people down.
After submitting my resume, I was contacted for an interview. However, it quickly became apparent that I lacked the necessary experience for the role, specifically in managing a team of over 20 people, which wasn't reflected on my resume. I'm unsure why I was considered for the position given this mismatch, and the interview felt like a waste of time for everyone involved. I left feeling quite bewildered by the experience.
The interview process was pretty simple and direct. It felt a bit thorough, but they seemed organized and applying was easy. It kicked off with a phone screen, and that's as far as I got.
