AMN Healthcare Sales Representative interviews, decoded.

After applying and getting an interview, I went to the interview. I interviewed with HR, answered questions, and was asked to know something about the company I'm interviewing with and the position, if possible. I asked questions to show interest for the job.

So far, the interview process has been messy and spread out over several weeks. After I passed the initial HR screening, I wasn't informed that there would be an additional 7 interviews with people ranging from junior roles all the way up to presidents. This feels like a lot for a mid-level position. The conversations mainly focused on how 'smart' the interviewers thought they were and what they expected me to do in the role. I didn't get a chance to ask any questions, and it was very one-sided.

The interview started with a phone call where I was asked a lot of questions about my past work. I had to talk about sales situations I'd been in and how I dealt with them. They also asked about what I liked and didn't like about my previous jobs. I was also asked about jobs I'd quit and why I left, and what else I could have done to stay at those companies.
