It was a phone screening interview and I was asked all the basic questions. I was called about a week after applying and I did not continue on to the in-person interview. It was a very monotone interview compared to others I have done. Honestly, it wasn't a good fit for what I wanted so I'm glad I didn't continue on. Although, it would have been nice to get an email saying they had chosen to move forward with other candidates.
I had a quick cold call phone interview, and then a longer Skype interview the next week. The second interview had a panel and a one-on-one. After the interviews, there were some short exercises where I had to do basic office tasks, and I had 24 hours to send them back.
So basically the interview process started with a quick phone screening that lasted about 20 minutes. Then, I had a longer Skype interview that was about 1.5 hours long. The second interview was actually split into two parts: first, I talked with an HR recruiter, and then I had a chat with two other employees from AMIDEAST. They asked pretty standard interview questions like how well you work in teams, your biggest weakness, and why you think you're a good fit for the job. I also had to do a short written exercise which I sent over the next day. I heard back from the recruiter personally about two weeks later, but unfortunately, they gave the position to someone with more experience.
