It started out like most other companies. I got an email and then a call from the HR person, Angie, who was really professional and knew her stuff. I advanced to the next stage, which was a Zoom interview with three other people. That's when things got weird. No one was on time except the HR rep, who had to step out for a meeting. The others who stayed didn't seem ready, and one of them was literally staring me down. It was super strange, I've never experienced anything like it in my 25+ years of working. She seemed hostile from the get-go and then acted and spoke like she wanted to make me feel bad? Honestly, a very uncomfortable experience.
The interview process took place over two weeks and involved a phone interview, an HR interview, a leadership interview, a group interview, and a director interview. The interviews felt intimidating because you never think you would be asked so many questions from people that know what they are doing.
Applied online and got an email for a phone screen. Did the phone screen and then got an email for an in person interview. When I got there, I only waited a short while before my interviewer came out. The whole process was really nice, the interviewer was very personable and thorough. Then I had an interview with HR (the Asst. in my case). It was very formal and thorough. After that, I left and waited to hear back. Eventually, I got an emailed offer letter.
