AMETEK Sales Manager interviews, decoded.

I applied on LinkedIn and HR reached out. The job was in Montvale, NJ. My first interview was with HR over MS Teams, which went well. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, and that also went well. They told me the next step was an on-site interview. After that, I couldn't get any response from them. HR wouldn't reply to emails, LinkedIn messages, or calls, totally ghosting me. It was really unprofessional, but honestly, it made me feel like I'm probably better off not working there if that's how they treat people. If they didn't want to offer me the job, all they had to do was send an email, but this company couldn't be bothered.

AMETEK HR reached out on LinkedIn about my fit for the role. I had a telephone interview scheduled, but they never called me back and ignored my follow-up emails. It felt unprofessional and like a waste of my time since I wasn't actively seeking a new job.

HR did an initial fit call, then I spoke with the hiring manager, then I talked to the person whose tasks I would be taking over, and finally, HR called again.
