AMETEK Manufacturing Engineer interviews, decoded.

First I chatted with the recruiter on the phone. Then I had a virtual interview with my future boss. After that, they flew me out to the plant. Once there, I interviewed with the manager, another engineer, the HR manager, and finally the Plant manager.

The interview was fair and to the point. No tricky questions, just questions about my experience and how it could be applied to their products.

I was first contacted by a recruiter about a manufacturing engineer opening. I had a couple of chats with the recruiter and then spoke with the hiring manager over the phone. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview which lasted about 1.5 hours and seemed to go well. Then, I had to take more time off work for a second, even quicker onsite interview. A week after the second onsite, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. I tried to get some feedback but the recruiter ghosted me.
