Candidate-reported interview process

We had a nice chat about my current job, their team and work, and some situation questions about leadership, like how to motivate someone unwilling.

It took about 2 months to finish everything. I had a phone interview a week after I applied. Two weeks later, I went in for a face-to-face interview. They said I'd hear back in about 2 weeks, but it was actually 5 weeks later when I emailed the hiring manager for an update. The hiring manager replied that the process wasn't finished yet. They gave me the recruiter's name and phone number to follow up, but the number was wrong. I left a message a week later, but no one called me back. A day after that, I got a rejection email.

It started with a recruiter call, then an HR interview. After that, the India leader interviewed me. Then there were a ton of interviews with US business leaders. The whole thing was so long, I started to think I was being hired for CEO or something similar.
