I went to a job fair for private colleges, and this interview happened there. It was about 30 minutes long, with two HR people. It was pretty relaxed, and they asked basic HR questions. Nothing too specific to Finance, just examples of materials and projects that could be used as experiences. One person was in charge of the intern program, and the other worked in the Finance department.
The interview process was pretty straightforward. You have your basic questions. Basically you're just trying to show your personable side to the advisor. However, my interviewer in particular had very high expectations, which confused me because a caveman could do the work that they give their interns. Anyways, be prepared to talk about a story where you had to work in a team environment.
Found the job on my school's career site, applied, and then got a call to schedule a phone interview. After that went well, I was contacted to set up an in-person interview. The whole thing was pretty straightforward. Mostly just talking about personality and some finance technical stuff. The person interviewing me was easy to chat with, which helped.
