First, I read up on the company and the job description. You need to know the basics of finance. They'll ask you stuff like RBI functions, Nifty & Sensex, general insurance concepts, life insurance types, and what's happening with the economy right now.
So there were like 4 rounds of interviews, first a written test and then an HR round, which were both pretty basic. The main challenge was the technical round, where they really dug deep into my knowledge of the field. Finally, there was a manager round which was more like an HR round with a few questions related to my field.
I received a call from a consultant, followed by several phone interviews. There was a technical discussion with the AMP India team, and then another technical discussion with the AMP US team. After that, I had a managerial discussion with the US VP. Finally, salary discussions and joining date negotiations took place with HR-India.
