I applied online and did a strange online skills test. Then I had a phone interview with two people. They invited me to an in-person interview but kept delaying it for three weeks before going silent with no feedback.
I applied and then had a phone interview which was thoughtful. After that, I met in person and really got a sense of the company's direction and my role. It was cool that I met with senior leadership, showing they care about all employees. I got the job offer two weeks after the initial interview and started about a week and a half after that.
I applied for this internship using LionShare, a tool for Columbia University students and alumni. After applying, I got an email to schedule a phone interview. This was followed by an in-person interview at the company's office. There, I met with all 4 current employees simultaneously, though the setting was informal. The interview mainly involved explaining cord blood banking and assessing my relevant experience for the expected tasks. I got a job offer about a week after.
