Candidate-reported interview process

The whole interview process took about a month. First, I had a chat with my direct boss. Then, I talked with a group of people for a culture fit interview. Lastly, I had a meeting with the VP of my department and the head of HR.

It was quite positive. You go through three phases: first, an initial background check and qualifications review; second, a cultural panel to determine fit; and third, a final interview with the hiring manager. It takes time, but while they were interviewing me, this process also allowed me to interview them and determine if it would be a good fit for me.

I interviewed a few times, with my potential supervisor, HR, and some other people from the department. The process was good, but it did take quite a while to get to the hire date. It was over a month from the interview to when I was hired.
