I went through a couple panel interviews. After those, I got an offer letter by email. Several hours later, the HR department called to tell me I was being offered the job, which was a bit unusual. Typically, I get a verbal offer first, then the details by email. I asked the HR rep if I could speak with a current female employee who has a family, like me, to get her perspective before I signed. They then sent me a letter saying they were going with another candidate and I was no longer being considered, which was after they had already sent me an offer the day before. Feels like I dodged a bullet.
Started with a casual chat to go over the job, what they pay, benefits and if it's a good fit. Then, I had 4 interviews in total. The first was with the recruiter. After that, I met with my direct manager, then a peer, and lastly the VP of Sales.
So first I had a 30-minute call with HR, then another 30-minute call with Sales. The last part was a live interview in person at their HQ which was about an hour long.
