Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was pretty long. It started with a phone screen from an external recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview with five different people. That panel interview wasn't the best, felt like an interrogation and I didn't really get to know anyone.

I was first contacted by a recruiter for a phone call. About 20 minutes into the call, she had to reschedule due to an urgent appointment. She mentioned she'd follow up to complete the interview. We rescheduled for the next week, but she canceled 5 minutes before the call. She said she would follow up again but never did. It was confusing and felt like a waste of my time.

The external recruiter for this role was a challenge, acting odd, dominating the conversation, and dodging questions, though the actual interview with AJWS staff was straightforward.
