Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process involved four rounds, with two of those being in-person. Ultimately, I was told I wasn't a good fit, but without any explanation. I have a feeling it might be related to something that came up on the background check, though I have no criminal record or anything like that.

It was a 40-50 minute call. It was a pretty standard behavioral interview to learn more about me. Then it shifted into a discussion that included some scenarios.

Started with a written application, then had two interviews. First one was with the hiring manager, and the second one was with the regional director and the hiring manager. After the second interview, they asked for writing samples and references. Then they offered me the job.
