I went through 3 interview rounds. It started with a 30-minute phone call, then two 1-hour panel interviews over Zoom. Things seemed to be going well; they asked for my references and salary expectations. However, I was ghosted before Thanksgiving. After I followed up, an assistant told me they had already hired someone else. I got a rejection email after the Thanksgiving break. Communication was good until they didn't follow up as promised after requesting my references.
I met with four people, and they asked me normal interview questions. Since this is a religiously affiliated organization, they did focus on that issue a bit. Overall, I think it went smoothly. I never heard back though, not even a rejection. I did try to follow up with my contact, but never got a response.
First, a 30-minute call with HR and a program person. Then, a 90-minute meeting with the hiring manager, HR, and others that included a presentation about a certain topic. Finally, a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager to sort out the last details.
