Candidate-reported interview process

Had a 30-minute verbal screening with HR. It was scheduled on Zoom, so I thought it would be a video call, but it wasn't. No need to dress up. The interviewer used a lot of jargon but was kind and personable.

An external company handles all the initial interviews. The last round is with afsp staff. The first interviewers really didn't know anything about suicide prevention and didn't use safe messaging at all. Not a good way to start for people looking to work in suicide prevention.

I applied and then went through a screening the next day. It seemed to go fine and my details were passed to the hiring manager. I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week, but I never did.
