Candidate-reported interview process

AF reached out for this internship on campus. Since it's a semester-long internship, the hiring process was pretty quick. All the questions were behavioral.

The recruiter reached out for a quick phone screening. They also set up the first interview with the manager and team leader. After that, I had a second interview with the team, which was surprisingly straightforward despite my initial nerves.

It was more like a hiring fair, with lots of people being interviewed simultaneously in a big room. The two women at my table seemed distracted, frequently looking away from me towards the door during our very brief five-minute chat. One interviewer was slouched, leaning to the side, and kept glaring. They asked a couple of questions about my last job and my availability. Later, they told the employment agency I was with that I'd given conflicting information, but wouldn't explain what that meant. It made me wonder if they were even paying attention to our conversation.
