I filled out an application and gave it to a friend who worked there. I got a call to come in for an interview. I interviewed with the manager of the department, myself, and an HR rep. The next day I got a call with an offer. Other people in my department hired after me had to do a presentation in front of a group. It was a standard interview.
The whole process was straightforward. I first spoke with HR, and then with the department Manager. HR reached out to me to set up the interview. The waiting period was brief, and the interview itself was quick. The questions asked were concise and direct.
When I was hired, the process involved an HR staff member. Nowadays, they utilize a third-party contractor, though I believe they might be reverting to using HR staff again. The interview was quite typical, featuring the usual behavioral questions.
