The interview was pretty chill and relaxed. They asked me about what I'm looking for, what I want to do, and how this internship fits into that. I just answered honestly without stressing too much about getting it perfect. It felt pretty normal, not scary at all.
My interview started with an HR screening, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager. The hiring manager (JS) repeatedly mentioned that I wasn't their first choice because several candidates they'd offered positions to had declined. I was asked to submit a couple of items, which I did, but then they ghosted me. I never even got a rejection email. The hiring manager's conduct was pretty unprofessional, and we never really had a proper conversation.
I really enjoyed the interview process until the final interview. My interviewer, Michelle, made it very difficult to answer questions and present myself effectively without being interrupted. Her demeanor wasn't great, and because of that, I lost my enthusiasm for the role.
