American Airlines Supply Chain Analyst interviews, decoded.

I had one interview on campus that was an hour long with two people, and then I had to wait 6 weeks to hear back. Then I made it to the second round, where I was flown out to Dallas for another 1-hour 2-on-1 interview.

The hiring process was incredibly slow and seemed unorganized. The interview with the hiring manager was really bad; they were unprofessional, dismissive, and assumed everyone works with procurement like American Airlines. I felt disrespected from the start, like they saw me as just a tool. The interviewer seemed to look down on me the whole time, and I was questioning why I was even there. It was one of the rare times, besides a bad experience with TikTok, that I wanted to leave mid-interview. I've never had an experience like it, and I really disliked the whole thing.

It was a super technical interview, mostly questions about vendor management and the RFP process. They asked around 10 questions on these topics. Plus, they asked about time management and why I wanted to work for American Airlines. The whole thing was just 30 minutes.
