It was a pretty chill interview. I just had to turn in my work study application, and then they interviewed me. I found out where I was placed about two weeks later.
We had a standard chat about my past accomplishments and what I could bring to the table. There was an emphasis on the communities I would be working with. Especially how/ if I could be sensitive to children that are underprivileged.
Started with an online application that felt like a survey. It had background check paperwork and stuff to get volunteer status at local schools. Then there was a casual Google Hangout interview. It was really friendly, I didn't feel judged, and I didn't even need to wear a tie.
