It was a pretty straightforward interview process. They asked a lot of questions about Java and Python, specifically how I've used them for automation. It's a good idea to ask them some questions too, to get a better understanding of the company. I was actually working with them back when they were still called IPsoft, before they became Amelia.
We had an initial phone screening and an on-site interview, followed by another phone screening with the Director. The first phone screening was with an engineer covering Linux commands and internals, and they asked about performing specific tasks in Python.
I applied online and got a call from HR a few days later. They asked me a bunch of technical questions covering OOP, networking, and system admin stuff. I wasn't sure about many answers but they said it was okay. They then said the team would likely want to interview me in person. The following week, I went in for an interview. They asked a simple SQL question, about if-else statements, and how to loop through a list. It felt pretty straightforward. Getting a tour is usually a good sign you'll get an offer.
