Candidate-reported interview process

They asked me some basic questions about my background and the job, and times I showed certain characteristics. The interview focused on what QA is and how it's different from quality control. It was mostly standard.

The interview process was long, involving a phone screen, a Zoom call, and finally an onsite panel interview with several interviewers. The panel interview was particularly challenging, but they did a good job answering my questions and were understanding of my nervousness. Although I didn't end up getting the job, the experience was respectful.

Getting an interview was easy. The questions were basic and vague, mostly asking about past situations and how I handled them. The interviewers seemed disorganized and weren't even aware I was scheduled for an interview that day.
