I had an online interview with two interviewers. It was mostly behavioral, asking generic questions about difficult projects or teamwork, but they did include a technical coding question. It was very simple, one of the first ones from LeetCode.
The interview process started with a behavioral chat over Zoom, followed by a technical round with software engineers. The process was mostly smooth, despite a few technical glitches that shouldn't affect the outcome.
So, I had two virtual interviews. First was a behavioral one with the typical "tell me about a time when" questions. Then, a technical interview that covered general coding stuff like OOP, debugging, and JavaScript. They finished with a LeetCode easy problem. Honestly, the interviewers were really new grads, and it was kinda rough. They struggled to guide me through the coding part, like giving hints and stuff. They also just asked yes/no questions which didn't let me show what I could do. They talked about valuing diversity, but then you look at their software engineers and it's like 99% not people of color and mostly men.
