Candidate-reported interview process

After applying and sending a follow up email, I got a call from them. I then went in for an interview two days later. The team was really friendly and the manager who interviewed me was obviously skilled. It seems like a place where people get along, so not for those who like drama.

This was the best interview I've ever experienced. The whole process felt really easy, like chatting with a friend. The interviewer made me feel super comfortable and not at all stressed. Her vibe was like, 'Hey, it's not a big deal, just say what's on your mind,' which seriously improved the experience for me, especially since I don't usually do well in interviews.

Applied online and got a call back the same day to set up an interview. Upon arrival, the atmosphere felt catty and stuck up. I had a 15-minute interview with what I think was the store manager, who seemed to be judging my outfit the entire time. I felt uncomfortable, which might be expected for an overpriced retail store in a wealthy area of San Francisco.
