It was an elimination round held across Coimbatore and Erode, with only 78 people advancing. I had three 1:1 interviews. The first tested my coding and puzzle-solving skills; I performed averagely but passed. The second round focused on data structures and OOPS concepts, including a background check. In the third round, I was given a case study and 30 minutes to solve it, which I did to the interviewer's satisfaction. After these three rounds, we waited about an hour for results. Out of 24 candidates, 12 received internship offers, and I was one of them.
Leadership skills are super important for this role. Make sure you can clearly explain your current testing process and the work you're doing. Have at least two real-life examples ready for all of Amazon's leadership principles.
After submitting my resume online, a recruiter contacted me the next day. The initial recruiter phone call was brief, mostly to confirm the experience I listed on my resume. Then, another recruiter got in touch to set up a phone interview. I requested three weeks to get ready for it.
