Candidate-reported interview process

Really bad process overall. The recruiter was rude and unfriendly, and seemed really focused on downplaying the title. I get that Amazon uses inflated titles, but that's not everything, and we all have options. Scheduling was slow. I was asked to prepare and even do a written assessment, but then at the very last minute, they canceled the interviews because they decided to go with other candidates for reasons that made no sense. They didn't even ask relevant questions about it. They were not open or transparent at all, and didn't stick to their own values.

The process started with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager interview. After that, there were three more interviews. The hiring manager was unprofessional because he kept interrupting and didn't let me finish my answers.

The interview process was pretty standard, as expected. They kept the project details confidential due to its secret nature, only sharing high-level information about their goals. Overall, it went well.
