Amazon Lab126 Hardware Engineer interviews, decoded.

There were 4 interviews, each 45 minutes long, with members of the HDE team, and a 15 minute break in the middle. Most of the questions were either basic electrical engineering questions or design questions.

The process was very structured and moved quickly. I had 4 rounds of interviews, each lasting 45 minutes. Initially, there were 3 back-to-back interviews, and then I received an email for another round. The interviews were virtual, conducted via Chime. Amazon Lab126 reached out after I shared my resume at a campus career fair and went to their info session. They hosted a day of interviews at my college with several time slots to choose from. I had two 45-minute in-person interviews that were both behavioral and technical. The interviewers delved into my past resume experiences, specifically my internships and projects. I was asked a couple of basic technical questions, like about low-pass filters. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I felt comfortable asking questions at the end. They mentioned a decision within a month, but were flexible if I had other offers with deadlines. I received a phone offer about a month later.
