I finished 3 out of 5 interview rounds and haven't heard back from them. The interview process included: (1) Recruiter screen, (2) Director/Department Head chat, (3) On-site with the Hiring Manager, (4) Team member interview, and (5) CMO interview. Overall, things were great until the on-site with the hiring manager. It was going well until they noticed I hadn't mastered one specific skill they had on their 'wish list.' I mentioned I was eager and willing to learn it since I hadn't had the chance before. And guess what? No callback. It seems like they aren't big on training and developing their people.
There were 3 interviews in total, with 2 conducted over Zoom and 1 in person. I was asked standard questions throughout. The Zoom interviews were good experiences with nice interviewers. However, the in-person interview was rescheduled right when I was supposed to leave for it, which was a bad start. When I arrived, they didn't ask many questions and instead had me do assessments. I wasn't checked on afterwards, and had to find someone to let them know I was done. The whole thing felt disorganized and made me question if I'd be a good fit. I also spent several hours doing unpaid assessments at home.
The interview was conducted remotely via video call. I spoke with three interviewers: the hiring manager and two current team members. I felt like the video format might have led to age discrimination.
