Amaris Consulting Data Scientist interviews, decoded.

It was a really interesting process. It kicked off with a couple of interviews and a tech challenge. The whole thing involved four rounds in total. The challenge part had questions based on a specific case study.

First, there was a 20-minute phone call with the recruiter/HR to chat about your projects and interests. After that, an in-person meeting with HR and the team Manager took place for about an hour, no technical stuff was discussed. They expect you to lie about illegal questions concerning your marital status, kids, etc. Also, the salary is really, really low.

A recruiter called me during business hours, unannounced, and talked for about an hour about the benefits of working there. She also asked me about my career history. At the end, she asked for two references, which I sent right after the call. She never replied again.
