I applied on the Amadeus website. First, I had a video call with an HR rep. They described the role's responsibilities, asked about my experience, and explained Amadeus' benefits. I asked about next steps and was told they'd contact the hiring manager and follow up the next week. I didn't hear back, so I emailed them, but got no response. I emailed again, still no reply. I feel a simple courtesy email would be appropriate after a 45-minute interview.
The process took forever. The hiring manager didn’t even bother to attend the interview, so the recruiter ended up doing the 2nd round. Not sure why anyone would want to work in a place where the hiring manager doesn’t show up to the interview.
The interview process included a few interviews. First, there was an HR screener. After that, I met with the person I would be reporting to, and then the head of the department. Everyone was really friendly and made sure to spend enough time with me.
