The interview was pretty straightforward. They explained the job, and then I had to talk about why I was interested and what skills I had from previous jobs that would work here.
I had a great time interviewing at Alvéole. After the first call, I got invited to a second interview, and it went pretty well. During the interview process, I got an offer from another company, and I let them know right away. They were super helpful and sped things up while still being really professional. Their willingness to work with me and support me was awesome and made the whole thing a good experience. It didn't end up being the right fit, but I'm thankful they considered me.
This company really wasted my time with a super long interview process for a seasonal beekeeper's assistant job that only lasts 3 weeks and needs no special skills. I applied on May 17, and after a phone interview on June 7, I had an in-person interview on June 22. Then they sent a form for references and a criminality declaration on June 26. My references got a detailed questionnaire on June 28. I had to call them on July 6 to follow up, only to be told they found someone else, the day before training was supposed to start. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know. It's a cowardly way to treat applicants, especially for a low-level position.
