I went through a few rounds for this internship. The first was a recruiter call, then a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview. During the interviews, they asked questions that required a SCAR response (Situation, Challenge, Action, Response). The questions covered teamwork, planning, and problem-solving. I also got to ask them some questions at the end.
I connected with an Altria employee at a career fair. They shared details about the internship program and asked me a few questions. The employee was really engaging and seemed keen to know more about me and my background.
They don’t sponsor visas, meaning they don’t hire international students. But they were quick to respond, kind, respectful and would follow up via phone calls if they needed you to complete something, which I appreciated.
