Alto Pharmacy Product Analyst interviews, decoded.

Started with a recruiter call that included basic SQL questions. Then I had to complete a data analytics case. After that, I had a round with the manager where we discussed my analytics experience and did some SQL coding through Mode Analytics. Unfortunately, I was rejected with no feedback.

I applied online and heard back in four days. HR set up the first call for Nov 19, 2024, but the interviewer never showed up. I waited 15 minutes, emailed HR with no reply, and stayed on the call until it ended (45 mins). The next day, HR apologized and rescheduled for Nov 25, 2024. The second interview was good, the interviewer was nice. We did some SQL coding and I got the output. But when they realized the hour was almost up, they seemed less interested and couldn't answer my questions. I've followed up 2-3 times since then with no news. It would be nice to get some update, even if it's just to say there's nothing new. Communication could be better.

I did a take home assessment, then had a sql problem interview. The assessment tested me in sql proficiency and ability to use statistics/product analysis to make an experiment to measure the impact of a proposed change in product.
