Candidate-reported interview process

Basic interview covering resume and college classes. It started with a phone call and then moved to a one-on-one meeting.

I interviewed with 4 different people, managers and peers, for about two hours. They were nice, even gave me a gift card for Amway products. I got a good overview of the company and the job. The questions were typical. They seemed interested, but I never heard back about an offer or rejection. I called HR about a week later and they said they were interviewing others and would let me know. I never got a response, so I took a better job elsewhere. It seems to me that if you bring candidates in for a 2-hour interview (requiring me to take time off), the least they could do is inform them of the outcome. Could this reflect how the company operates?

The interview kicked off with a presentation lasting about 10-15 minutes, followed by a Q&A. The whole thing was around half an hour. There were a bunch of senior engineers, middle managers, and a couple of directors there. They were pretty cool and asked some solid questions. After the presentation, I had 6 back-to-back interviews, each half an hour long, with two people from that group. The interviewers really grilled me, but it felt fair for a competitive internship. All in all, it was a great experience and I'd happily interview with Alticor again. This was for an electrical engineering internship.
