I had 3 interviews with the manager, team, and director. Each interview had different questions that were mostly technical about integrations, detail work, and documentation. They also asked about cultural fit regarding schedule, teamwork, and communication.
The internal recruiter was 5 minutes late for our 30-minute screening call and seemed unprepared about who I was or what she was screening me for. She didn't provide any information about the position or the company culture. The only thing she did share was the difference between two IT organizations. She asked me 3 questions. Towards the end, I had about 5 minutes to ask some questions, but since she wasn't the hiring manager, she couldn't answer most of them. She mentioned she'd be available for follow-up questions via email, but she never got back to me. As someone who hires people myself, I was pretty disappointed with how Alterra handled this process.
The interview process was good, with a mix of basic and some unexpected questions. The interviews can be conducted either in person or via Teams. This role attracts many applicants.
