Candidate-reported interview process

The interview included basic electronics questions, and they asked about my experience for the role. I was asked to explain what I knew about DFT design, and mostly it was about projects, experience, and qualifications. You should be prepared with basic technical knowledge and be able to clearly explain related projects.

I applied online. The first interview was a phone call with HR, mostly asking about my past experience. Then came a technical phone screen where I had to answer questions about some C++ code and do some coding in C++ and Verilog. The last part was a 5-hour onsite interview in San Jose with 5 different people. It was pretty intense, with lots of questions on the basics, design, and coding in C++, Verilog, and Python.

There were a few phone interviews first, then we moved to an on-site interview. The on-site was mostly 1-on-1 and went for about 6 hours. The phone interviews were not super technical, but the on-site was all technical stuff. The interviewers had specific questions ready based on what the job needs.
