Met with the business recruiter, then the talent acquisition. Nice atmosphere, very friendly team, felt a bit like cattle but that's their job. I personally appreciated it.
My impression, and it seems others share it, is that they post openings and conduct interviews mainly to find senior developers they can hire at junior salaries, suggesting they don't genuinely need developers. The process took nearly a month. I had an initial phone call, then a Teams interview, and finally a technical interview. The team lead who interviewed me didn't even introduce themselves and came across as a bit snobby. Even though I answered most questions reasonably well, they informed me they wouldn't be moving forward with my application. My request for reasons was ignored.
The technical selection process starts with a coding challenge, including multiple-choice questions, a couple of SQL query exercises, and a couple of Java coding exercises. The second part was an interview with various questions on technologies like Kafka, SQL, Java, and Angular.
