ALTEN Data Analyst interviews, decoded.

First, I had a call with HR to go over the job and tasks. Then, I spoke with the data department manager about technical details and my past experiences. After that, I had a debrief with HR. There was supposed to be a technical test, but I never got it.

It was a getting-to-know-you and technical chat, the first one was short, the second one more in-depth. Overall the HR folks were nice and polite, no issues encountered it seems. Not bad though, could have gone worse.

First contact with Alten HR, then a phone interview with an ALTEN business manager at the client's site. After that, a real interview with the business manager who then prepared me for a presentation at the client's. A technical interview with the client followed, and finally, an interview with the client company's manager. The whole process took about a month from the first contact to the final confirmation. Towards the end, another company contacted me with a much better offer, and after their second interview, they confirmed and had me sign.
