Altec Industries Manufacturing interviews, decoded.

I applied online and got a call in about a week for a phone interview the next week. It was a panel of leaders asking about my experience and how I handle situations. They suggested an on-site interview, which happened a month later. This time, the panel included operation supervisors and the plant's GM. It lasted about 30 minutes, then the plant manager gave me a tour. They said I'd hear back in a week. I haven't received an offer yet.

We collected resumes from a Job Fair, then sorted them by GPA and how they seemed at the fair. After that, there was a phone interview, and I had to fill out some forms for a background check. The last step was an in-person interview at the plant, followed by a drug hair test.

The phone interview was supposed to be about 20 minutes, but the call kept dropping. The questions were pretty basic when we could actually talk. After the fourth try, I think we both just decided to stop.
