Altec Industries Junior Engineer interviews, decoded.

I applied through the school portal and got selected for an on-campus interview. Then I was selected again for the final round of interviews which was the onsite in St Joseph Missouri. There were about 8 of us for the onsite. They paid for everything such as hotel, mileage gas, food, dinner and lunch.

It took two weeks. I interviewed on the phone and then I got called in for in person interviews. The interview was very easy for the most part. They asked mostly behavioral questions and then they asked me to talk about my experience.

You'd start by coming to Altec's main office in the morning, and you'd be sitting with other folks applying for the same position. You'll have 8 interviews back-to-back with different office managers, each lasting 30 minutes, with no breaks in between. Make sure to bring extra copies of your resume and just be yourself.
