Altec Industries Field / Application Engineer interviews, decoded.

I interviewed with two people. The interview was pretty laid-back, mostly asking about how I handle teamwork and stress, and my organizational strategies. Finding the place was a bit tricky because it's a big complex.

I found out about this job at my college career fair and then applied online. The interview happened 3 days after I first saw them. It was a pretty chill and good interview overall.

I found Altec at a career fair at my local state university. They took my resume and then called back to invite me to a dinner in town with potential candidates a few days before doing a plant tour and panel interview. The process was refreshing, and the interviewers were pleasant. There were ~8 interviewers at 30 minutes per interview. It looked like a bright, cheery, productive environment.
