The interview had a great environment and an engaging conversation with the team. They were very informative about the role and AltaVista’s culture, and showed a strong interest in my background. They welcomed questions and answered them clearly.
The interview process was pretty simple. I had an in-person interview at their office where I met with the hiring manager, an HR person, and someone from senior leadership. The interview was quite straightforward, and everyone was really nice.
It was a three interview process with all sorts of common interview questions. You start with a 20-minute phone call with your typical questions about strengths, weaknesses, and what drives you. If you pass that, you move on to the in-person interview at the office. You'll get buzzed in and take the elevator up to their floor. The recruiter or HR person will meet you and take you to a conference room. There, you'll be asked questions like why you left your old job, why they should hire you, and what you did in your previous position.
