Candidate-reported interview process

Had a direct online interview via Teams, it was a technical round. A second technical round might be needed. If so, there's an HR round for salary discussion and confirmation. Then the offer letter and joining details. All the best!

The interview process involved an assessment center with two group exercises. The tasks weren't overly difficult, and one required building something. For candidates who did well, the next step was an MS Teams interview. They covered travel expenses, which was appreciated. In hindsight, I wish the interview had been on the same day as the assessment center, as traveling a long distance for just two group exercises felt a bit much.

So, the interview process is all about checking out your mechanical design skills, like your choices and how strong your designs are. You'll have a screening call first. Then a technical interview where they ask stuff about stress/strain, failure modes, and design problems like designing a beam or bolted joints. There might be a final interview too. They really care about how you solve problems, if you know your tech stuff, and how well you can talk about it.
