Candidate-reported interview process

They were asking mostly about past experiences, and personal character seemed to be the key. They also cared about my willingness to learn a different field, my urge to grow, and if I would fit in with the social community and company policies.

The interview process was good and the questions asked were relevant, but the job itself wasn't what I specialized in. The work wasn't even related to computer science, it was entirely railway signaling. They hired me for Java and Spring Boot, but then randomly assigned me to a signaling group.

The interview was straightforward and focused on my relevant experience from past roles. I was asked to describe my experiences and explain how they relate to the position and company I'm applying for, and how I could contribute.
