The first interview was automated. Questions showed up on screen and you had a short time (15-60 secs) to record your answer. Most questions were about AlphaSights and how the company aligns with your job aspirations. It's unclear how much these answers count.
It was a bit unnerving doing a video interview where I had to talk to the camera, especially with only 5 seconds to think about my answers. I'd say read the other reviews and get ready to answer every question here briefly.
I found the job posting on the University Career website. The first part involved answering a 200-word motivation question. If that went well, I moved on to an online interview. This had four written questions about my past experiences, with no time limit, and four video questions. Most video questions were 60 seconds, but one was only 30 seconds. These covered questions about AlphaSights and some personal ones, like what book I was reading. The next step, if I passed, was to visit their London office. I had a really good chat with someone from HR. I felt pretty good about it, but a few days later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. They didn't give any feedback.
