AlphaSights Coordinator interviews, decoded.

It was a pretty standard interview process. First, there was an initial screening with a recruiter, but mine was extremely unimpressive and didn't seem to listen. The second round was with someone higher up on the Recruitment team, who was really nice and engaging. I got cut after that, and I'm not sure why. Which would have been fine, but they've been constantly posting that same job opening for months. My interview went seamlessly, so I find it hard to believe they haven't filled the role yet, which is a red flag. Their interview process was great overall, and my contact was responsive and helpful. Just super confused by their inability to fill the role; it seems fishy.

First round was a phone brief where they just asked me about what I knew about the company. I got asked back for a second round case study interview which was more difficult but not impossible.

The interview included scripted questions that seemed to rehash information already provided on the application, such as visa status or GPA, rather than focusing on the actual role.
