Candidate-reported interview process

First, there was a coding test. Then, 2 technical rounds that covered coding, basic concepts, architecture, and system design using Spring, Java 8, and SQL. Finally, a director round to assess personality and communication skills.

The process leading up to the onsite interview was fine and moved pretty quickly. But after the onsite, the company ghosted me. They never communicated their decision or responded to my follow-ups. It's frustrating because candidates invest time meeting with the team, and the least the company can do is provide an update, even if it's a rejection.

Had a 30-minute phone screen. The interviewer called 20 minutes late. It felt more like an interrogation, with the interviewer mainly focused on asserting their own expertise rather than listening to my complete answers. They would interrupt and compare unrelated things.
